Audition for our 21st Anniversary Season 
The company is comprised entirely of non-professional dancers.  Rehearsals begin September 13th for Nutcracker and January 10th for the Spring Production of Sleeping Beauty. Company class is required each week regardless of rehearsal schedule.  We encourage dancers of all skill levels to join the cast!

Audition for the Cast 
The company is comprised entirely of student and pre-professional dancers.  Casting for the 22nd season of The Nutcracker August 28, pre-register today! Weekly company class and rehearsals will begin September 12, 2026.  We encourage dancers of all skill levels to join the cast!

Casting for The Nutcracker August 28, 2026 

5:00pm Ages 6-9 (Age 5 considered with experience)
5:30pm Ages 10-12
6:00pm Ages 12+ (no pointe)
6:30pm 12+ (pointe)

Company 1 - 9:00 am-9:45 am
Company 2 - 10:00 am-11:00 am
Company 3 -9:30 am-10:45 am
Company 4 - 10:45 am-12:00 pm

Please arrive prior to audition time for registration.
There is a $50 non-refundable audition fee due with registration please make check payable to Chesapeake Ballet Company.

This fee will be applied to the $450 performance fee for Nutcracker which provides for class, rehearsal time,   and helps us maintain hundreds of costumes and props.
